Dialogue between time, form and materials
The AMALGAM sculpture series is born at the intersection of time, material and memory. The wood and glass materials are as if merged into each other and are in a mutual dialogue. The series reflects moments in the connection between different elements, including the tension before the seamless fusion.
Time leaves its mark everywhere and shapes people and nature into the form it wants. The AMALGAM sculptures depict this impressive process of centuries, especially through the traces created by water, and the visual connection to the sculptures is found in the contours and reflections, which are particularly strongly present between water and terrain.
