Glass material is transformed into an unique formations in the MELT vases and bowls. Through the properties of the glass material, the vase collection reflects the process when ice melts and becomes liquid again, as well as the movements of water on different surfaces, creating textures and reflections.
Glassblowing is done in small signed and numbered batches in Finland. The glass is blown into a wooden mold, thanks to the unique molds, the vases get a rich texture, where the burnt wood surface and smooth glass mass alternate in a balanced way.
